Intermediate Architectural Designer

Requirements:

• Proven abilities in site planning, building design, and space plans with an emphasis on retail centers and mixed-use projects
• Ability to take on and complete tasks by yourself and/or with a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
• 5+ years of professional commercial experience
• Professional degree in Architecture or Design
• Basic knowledge of California Building Code & Construction details
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong hand graphic presentation and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Partner with director and team to manage the preparation of plans & drawing sets
• Provide coordination with the team to manage the project deliverables from schematic design through design development
• Strong conceptualization, master planning, design, people, and team building skills are essential
• Proficiency in 2D/3D software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Sketchup, VRay, Rhino, and other modeling and rendering software
