With 38 years of experience in retail, healthcare, commercial, and residential projects, Susan Patton brings to mcg architecture a combination of skills resulting in her ability and talent to organize a system and a team within the San Francisco staff and outside consultants to prepare, develop, and manage a successful project on time, efficiently and within established budgets.

Susan’s dedication to quality and service has created long-lasting and trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and other team members. Her attention to detail and team-oriented attitude with both clients and contractors have made her an integral part of the mcg San Francisco team. Susan’s most notable experience has exposed Susan to involvement with numerous clients including Kaiser Permanente, Rite Aid, Extended Stay America, Picture People, The Counter restaurant, Fresh & Easy, Safeway, Walgreens, Ann Taylor, Starbucks, Vera Bradley, The Vitamin Shoppe, Orchard Supply Hardware and developers like Kimco Realty, Regency Centers, Oliver McMillan, E.J. Plesko and Westrust.

A licensed architect in the State of California, Susan received her BA in Architecture from Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA (in a joint program with the MIT Architecture program in Boston).

Fun Fact: Susan was a $7 baby, born on Christmas Eve while her father was serving in the Marines. He flew from Puerto Rico to North Carolina just in time to take her mother—who had left Christmas Eve dinner cooking in the oven—to the small hospital. A Marine Corps doctor, dressed in a tuxedo on his way to a holiday party, delivered Susan while her father was still parking the car. Moments later, her father was charged $7 and sent home with his wife, newborn daughter, and the Christmas Eve dinner was waiting in the oven.
