Olga Ruiz
Principal
Olga L. Ruiz is the Managing Principal of mcg architecture’s Irvine office, where she has been instrumental in building and maintaining key client relationships since joining the firm.
With 25 years of experience in retail architecture, Olga has successfully delivered ground-up shopping centers, tenant roll-out projects, and comprehensive remodels of existing retail centers and buildings throughout California, Washington, Utah, and Colorado. Her collaborative approach has cultivated strong working relationships with clients and project teams, consistently resulting in successful project outcomes.
As Managing Principal, Olga oversees all projects and staff at mcg’s Irvine office while closely coordinating business development efforts across mcg’s Western Region. She manages projects from initial site planning and entitlements through construction administration, working alongside her production team to ensure seamless execution. Leading mcg’s Design and Entitlement Department, Olga ensures that each client’s scope and vision are fully captured and realized. She is responsible for the full project coordination between the client consultants, and contractor for delivering a quality project.
Olga holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Javeriana University in Bogotá, Colombia, and practiced as a licensed architect in Colombia before bringing her expertise to the United States.
