Jorge Calderon

Principal

Jorge Calderon, AIA started his architectural career in the early nineties and joined mcg architecture in 2018. He is a licensed architect in the state of Arizona and is the Principal of the Phoenix office. He has always had a passion for architectural design and has been expanding his knowledge ever since. His core strengths include management, mentoring, design, construction, and is a strong believer in the “Team Approach.” Jorge’s involvement starts at the inception of a project and follows it through all the various development phases.

He is a strong advocate for developing and nurturing long-lasting relationships with clients. His work experience includes Neighborhood Retail Centers, Major Retail Tenants, Fitness Centers, and Daycare Developments throughout the country. He is currently working with diverse clients such as LA Fitness, Club Studio, Kimco Realty, Red Mountain Group, and Children’s Learning Adventure, to name a few.

Jorge’s goal is to lead mcg architecture into becoming a diversified firm with staff who are passionate about architectural design while maintaining ongoing relationships with clients.

Fun Fact: Music and Art have always been his source of inspiration, helping him connect with his emotions while developing creativity from a very young age, and it continues to inspire him today.
