mcg architecture led the planning and design of Bedford Marketplace, the retail anchor of the Bedford master-planned community in Corona, California. The center was envisioned as a vibrant, walkable destination that blends lifestyle retail with everyday convenience. mcg’s design incorporates modern, clean-lined architecture with warm materials, such as stone accents, wood-look finishes, and expansive glazing to create a welcoming, contemporary feel. The layout encourages pedestrian flow with thoughtfully placed plazas, outdoor seating areas, and landscape features that promote gathering and community engagement. Emphasis was placed on maximizing tenant visibility and signage while ensuring cohesion across the center’s architectural language. mcg worked closely with the client, consultants, and city officials to balance branding requirements with city guidelines, creating a retail environment that feels both functional and refined.
